For longer fibers, saw gin is highly inappropriate as it will surely damage the length. Amongst the two suitable options, Double Roller Ginning Machine is more cost-effective and preferred over the single roller type. In some cotton types like black seed cotton, both the techniques are applicable and rotobar will also give good results.

Presence of Trash Contents: If you are dealing with machine picked cotton in which the trash content is high, you would need to make use of additional cleaning equipment before using the Single Roller or Double Roller Cotton Ginning Machine. If additional equipment are not available, make use of Saw Gin as it can crush all the trash material. In other technologies, the trash can congest the seed clearance grid.
